CCCB - Christmas Tags - Week 4
Sorry my post is late this week. The tag includes an image is from The Stamping Boutique. Unfortuantely The Stamping Boutique is closing its doors on 31st December. They have such wonderful images and I am sad to see it go. So make sure you drop by and buy any you would like before they close.
For my tag this week I have gone for the same style as my earlier one this month, but in green. I wish I had used the same red marker in the stocking as I did in the other tag, but I didn't check until it was too late.
Here is my tag for this week.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Gumball green, Whisper white
Image: Christmas Stocking from The Stamping Boutique
Stamps: Stampin' Up - Come to Bethlehem - for senitment
Other: Stampin' Up markers, white ribbon, Sizzix snowflake embossing folder
Our sponsor this month is R J Jackson.

You can see the other wonderful creations the rest of the team has made here.
Here is the pair of mine together.
Also at The crafter's Cafe we have Open House from 25th Decmeber to 1st January. Come also at any time and take part. There will be games and challenges.
Thanks for dropping by. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.

TCCB - December Challenge is Tags
It is now week 2 of our final challenge for 2012. Time for Team B to show you some examples of this month's challenge which is to create a tag. You can use any images, stickers, embellies, etc... from any company and make any kind of tag you like.
The challenge will run until midnight 31st December so there's plenty of time to enter. Please be
sure to read all the rules before entering. You can find them here.
My tag features an image from Robert Jackson our sponsor.
This is a simple, but effective tag. I have printed and coloured the image, then fussy cut it. I have adhered it to the white cardstock which has been dry embossed with a Sizzix snowflake embossing folder. I sponged the edges before adhering it to the red tag. I also added the sentiment and ribbon.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Red, white
Image: Candy Canes from Robert Jackson
Stamps: Come to Bethlehem from Stampin' Up for Sentiment
Other: Sizzix snowflake embossing folder, Real Red and Gumball Green Stampin' up Markers, white ribbon and sponge.
Remember to come back next week and see what Team A have for you.
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.

Three cards for three special people
I needed three cards for some special friends of ours who have three birthdays within four days. They are friends from out of Auckland. The husband and wife have their birthdays a day a part and their daughter is is only two days before that.
The first card I made is for the daughter who is turning 11. I used the side spring style card, or as another card making friend calls it the diamond corner card. I thought cupcakes, pink and purple is a good combination for a girl.
The second one is for my wonderful friend who I would love to see more, but since they live about 4 1/2 hours away, we only get to catch up a couple of times a year. This is not actually a new card, but one I made a while ago (so you may recognise it from an earlier posting). I made it when I went through a stage of making shaped cards and I have kept in my stash of cards. I thought it would be a lovely, special card for her.
Lastly the husband is turning 40 so I thought I would make a twisted card as it creates a pocket inside, perfect to hold a voucher which we sent him for his milestone birthday.
Here is the pocket it creates inside.
By the way, I am holding a class this coming weekend on the North Shore which will show you how to make this twisted card, although it will be in a Christams theme. Please contact me if you are interested in coming.
Thanks again for stopping by.
Have a great week.
